Prescription Charges and Exemptions

The NHS prescription charge is currently £9.15 for each prescribed item. This means that there is a charge for each different drug or medical appliance on your prescription. For those who require extensive medication or repeat prescriptions, prescription prepayment certificates (PPC's) are available, which helps to reduce the charges for prescriptions.
